Ok, I just posted this in the official GV thread in the lounge, but figured I'd put it up here too... Hope it works for everyone.. It worked for me
So, if you want GV all you have to do is have a 2.1 based rom, download GV app from the market, and go here

And set it up. Super easy, no invite required. I just set up mine!
To get your number, set it up with your current phone # then when you open voice on your pc Go to phones (where your # is listed on the top of the screen) and it will prompt you to get a #. Good luck!!!
