GVoice - custom default by contact

Just got the droid x, huge upgrade from the iphone 3g ball and chain i've had for 2 years.

I want to set the default text messaging program for certain contacts to be google voice, but the rest of the people to send using the default texting app. Is this possible?

I would like to know too, as I use Google Voice for family, and my regular number for friends since my friends MMS.

I tried using the google voice assigned number from my old feature phone, and I tried quicky writing down the number that Google Voice uses when you call someone. Neither worked, the phone just defaulted to my carrier number

I don't know a way to this by default for individual contacts.
