Ok guys, confusion has hit me hard. I finally managed some time to really try this phone out tonight using mobile data. It was my secondary phone and only allowed to run on wifi (for roaming reasons).
The provider in the UAE, which is Du, is advertising LTE all over the place saying they support 150mb/s uplink even though no device supports that yet.
I shove the sim in the phone and i see H+. Besides the fact that i will ask wtf is H+ really, i have been hearing that the international version is not LTE. Is that true? If only NA S3's support LTE then could Du have that with their phones? I bought mine from a dude off a classified site so i highly doubt its their phone. In the network settings, i can change the network mode from gsm only to gsm and wcdma or to wcdma only. Can someone please explain to me how do i know if my phone is really international?
I did two test runs in an area of good coverage (right next to Du's building) and i got 800kb down and 900kb up. Does this make sense to anyone? Plz help
