Short version. I used Tor about 6 months ago from a used computer I bought. I stupidly asked him to download tails for me. Once in a while I would notice password changes and every program I tried to get a pgp key would not work. I just thought it was my stupidity. 3months ago I bought some things on clearnet but has strict warnings are labeled with the correct warnings. So nothing illegal on my part. Trying to warn people on Reddit( big mistake) something about the product. I never mentioned any vendors name. I was suddenly locked out of reddit from home IP address. Noticed more weird things w/computer and now my tablet. Ran a spyware program and all kinds of stuff popped up..Not even a minute later it was all gone.Showed my computer completely free from viruses and malware. Then tablet acted really weird. So I went to All About Device and took a picture with my smartphone 2 minutes later phone was locked and tablet had original info back again.All my devices had been hacked and most rooted. They made it so i could no longer buy bitcoin. Actually took bitcoin out of wallet and put it back in my paypal account. During this time had some new neighbors move in. I got that feeling someones watching me. Anytime i trird to lock a device the password woulld be changed and factory reset wouldnt unlck it. I got the feeling all the devices were spying on me. I believe the neighbors came in my house and switched out some usb chargers.Tinfoil hat time. They havent targeted anyone else in the house other than rooted and spying on them. But they dont care they just think im crazy. We have a boost mobile family plan. Their phones work great. Ive gone thru about 5 phones i still cant get web service. I can make call and receive texts. I even bought 2tracphones. Same problem. I can get web when phone is hooked to wifi.What can i do to get rid of these hackers and protect my family and me.I kinda think it could be LE or my neighbors are awesome hackers. Oh and there are keyloggers on every device. Sorry for long post but the first couple times i tried they were mysteriously ddeleted.

Sorry, I got lost at the part about bitcoins. And frankly I don't know anyone using things like that.

I've used Tor myself in the past, until the govt. found a way to detect and block it.

Bitcoin is virtual money. It's used to buy things. Mostly its used for trading money to play virtual games. Linden dollars is another example.
I was trying to be as brief as possible. Basically my devices have been hijacked. Is there anyway to protect myself.. I have bought new phones but as soon as I turn it on its like theybknow im trying to setupba new account.

I know Linden dollars is in Second Life, because I used to play that myself. But then there's many online games that use some sort of virtual currency, e.g. "gold" in World of Warcraft.

I've heard about bitcoin exchanges being compromised and hacked.

I stopped using Tor, really because it became impossible to use in China, and now just use a regular paid VPN, either Astrill or Turbo VPN.

How to prevent yourself being hacked again, I think is make sure all your passwords are unique and can't be guessed, and use multi-factor authentication where you can, e.g. Google Authenticator.

But on the other hand if you think there's people coming into your home and doing things to your stuff, perhaps you need to change the locks and improve the home security?

Its the worst feeling knowing someone is watching or listening to everything i do! Ive been researching and reading anything to do with security but everything Ive tried does nothing! And they are targeting me! Not the household! And not being able to get on the web with my cellphone is a pain! I gave up for about 2 weeks but I got bored and they are still at it!

I think thats how they got rooted. i think they switched out our generic usb chargers. And i thought i read somewhere that you now can be rooted remotely. My husband thinks I'm losing it. no way will he change the locks. I had to go to developers options to show him Id been hacked. He thinks as long as were not doing anything illegal hes okay with people watching and listening to us having sex.

And the keyloggers make the passwords useless. i do use 2 step verification when ever possible.

Would rooting a phone be a better optiion?
