Hacked?

My camera goes on n off when it wants to sporadically...also my my battery life went down to 0% yet I was still speaking on the phone. When I download apps it saves it directly into the phone system apps also Help!!!

There's something messed-up, but that doesn't necessarily mean "hacked". So let's look at them separately.

Firstly, battery meter. These things are frequently inaccurate, and going to zero but still having enough charge to keep talking is less common than shutting down at 30%, but hardly unheard of. So I'll not worry much about that.

You say that when you download apps they are saved directly into the system apps. If true (and they aren't updates to system apps) that would be very weird. So can you tell us how you can tell this is happening?

And under what circumstances does the camera go off? There may be a malfunctioning app, but if your phone has ways of rapidly accessing the camera one of those might be being activated (in a pocket, by a case,...). So we need more information to attempt a diagnosis.

When I download an app I can uninstall it but it's still in th system apps in my phone. I checked myself. And the camera goes off when it wants to without apps on.

So when you say "in the system apps" you mean it's still installed, or that it's actually installed as a system app? It's still not clear. That's why I asked you how you determined that it is a system app.

And you've not said much more about the camera. Going off in your pocket or when on a table with no-one touching it would be very different things, for example. And when it goes off have you tried looking at what apps have been active recently?

Has the phone been like this since you got it or has it started recently? If the latter what did you install or update in the last few days before it started? We're there any other events (drops, getting wet)? And if you are worried about being hacked have you noticed anything unusual in your account activity (the way phones get hacked is through their Google account, or possibly Samsung account if you have one).

The phone will b locked when I go to pick it up and unlock it, it automatically goes to the camera.
The apps r put in to the System apps as soon as I download it. Also my notifications are checked before I get to them. Like they're cleared out as if it's been already looked at on social media

Ok, so you have some tool that is showing system apps only? Sorry, but I asked twice how you knew they were system apps and you didn't answer either time. This is the most significant anomaly so I'd like to understand exactly what you are seeing.

Many phones have shortcuts to open the camera quickly from the lock screen so if all that is happening is that you find the camera open when you unlock the first guess has to be that you are triggering something like that. If it happens under other circumstances that would be different.

No. When I go into my settings then I go to apps then show system apps...i will find all my apps there after I've downloaded thrm

In which case they are not system apps.

OK, so now the question is why your uninstalling didn't work, but that's much less odd than apps being installed to the system. Is it all apps that don't uninstall, or just some? And how are you uninstalling them? I always use the system settings, but you can do it from the Play Store (assuming that's where you install them from). Removing an icon from the desktop is not uninstalling the app.
