Handcent forum broken?

I have a problem with Handcent:-

so I thought I would see if there is an official Handcent forum; yes:-

handcent.com - Index

However it appears to be broken by massive amounts of spam and the Admin not being present since February 2011.

I wonder if that means the app is also on its way out?

They probably just need to delete the forum since it doesn't appear to be of any use to them. The FAQ and other info on their site pretty much covers everything already, so there's no real point to the forum.

There's been two updates to Handcent this month, so I doubt they're going anywhere.

Email the dev, or post your issue here. Perhaps someone can help you.

You might wanna remove the email address so the spam bots don't scrape it.
