hello,

i am using handcent and i am wondering if there is any way to make it so each received sms that is over 160 characters doesnt get split up into multiple messages. i know i can put the outgoing messages into one if its over the 160 count but is there any way i could do the same for incoming messages?

What you are looking for is software that recombines the messages that were split. How would the software on your phone make it so the senders carrier doesn't split the message? No way possible. SMS is 160 characters. You may think you are sending, lets say 2000 characters in your single SMS text, but the carrier will split that message into 160 character chunks.

(I know of no program that recombines the chunks.)
