The Good
Well I've been using Handcent for a while on my G1 and it is incredible. The customization goes as low from just the font to as far as changing the theme of the entire app! With Handcent you can change your font with downloadable font packs from the Market, change your thread style texting to android, ihpon, handcent, or handcent original style. You can also change your text bubble color and font color. There is an entire arsenal of things you can change from your vibration pattern to your LED notification color. Not to mention Froyo just cam out with the ability to change your trackball notification color but Handcent has had this function for a while now! Lets move on to one the best features about Handcent SMS/MMS this is obviously the SMS pop-up feature this shows up even on your lockscreen and even when you're in another app and this function can be disabled.
The Bad
Well this is the part where I say things i dont like about the app but besides force closes there aint nothing i can write here the Handcent crew has outdone themselves with this one and i hope they continue to bring the goods.
Overall
Handcent SMS/MMS is overall the best text replacement app. It covers all features a person could for and more. I give Handcent SMS a 9/10 on the Omaroid Scale.
