About six months ago I had a thread going stating my phone at the time, HTC-HERO, was possessed. It seems that some of my text messages were not being sent to the person I was chatting with. Conversation list in Handcent app showed the msgs were gong to the correct person, but upon checking the details, it showed the msgs were going to 40404, Twitter.
Advice at the time was to remove ATK and see if this helped. It seemed to till abt three months later, New Years Eve to be exact, same thing. This time message was sent to somebody way down my convo list. Time to get new phone I thought.
Purchased an EVO-4G a month ago and have liked it so far. That is till this past Saturday when old "possessed" issues reappeared. Carrying on convo with friend via SMS, using Handcent. Time went by, no response. Checked convo string and msgs are there. Checked details and sure enough, msgs are now on Twitter. No bueno.
So whats up? Thoughts on this? Not using ATK, but do have ES Task Manager running. Not sure if I replied via the pop-up Quick-Text or in the actual convo. Should I seek another SMS app? Remove ES Task Manager?
