Every time I get a text I get two notifications on my status bar. One for handcent, one for some kind of preview thing. It is annoying. Anyone have this problem or know how to fix it?
You are getting two notifications most likely because your default Messaging and your new messaging (Handcent) both have notifications turned on at the same time. We had the same problem.
Go into "Messaging" (the default messaging application that came with the phone) and then go into its settings and disable anything related to notifications. Should solve the problem.
