I used a Palm T|X for years before I went to my Galaxy S II... only six months ago?

Still have it, in fact, and use it on occasion. Did nearly everything that the E4GT does except make phone calls, and the battery lasts a lot longer.

Here's the British equivalent of the Newton...

The Amstrad PenPad.

Released about the same time, was much cheaper *. However it was really quite dreadful and clunky, even for 1993.

I've got an old iPAQ, Bluetooth, no WiFi or SIM card. It takes SD cards up o 2GB, and makes a good MP3 player.It also has a cool universal remote app installed, so it's a music player and remote for TV/Tivo/DVD/Stereo/WiFi radio and other stuff.

Had one of those for the longest time lol. Eventually got worn out and ended up losing it. Had a Garmin iQUE 3600 (I think was the number) also, powered by Palm that I used to use for Geocaching. Man, how times have changed.
