I hard bricked my galaxy young after I installed a wrong package in recovery mode (the phone got stuck in a boot loop, so I accidentally applied a optimus 3d fix), and after that it got hard bricked. It won't turn on in any mode. It still seems to be charging (battery still heats when plugged in).
My question is : Will I still be able to get a replacement? Will the carrier find out that it has been rooted? (the phone is bought with a contract at orange).
Frying it has crossed my mind, but will they replace it?
