Root hard button recovery boot stopped working

Hey everyone, I have lost the ability to boot into recovery using the volume - and power button method. How can I get it back? Do I need to reinstall the laf.IMG?

I think it may have happened when I attempted to install twrp 3.0 using flashify. I now have it using the fastboot method but still unable to boot into recovery from volume power button method. Does anyone know of a way to fix it?

you can use volume - / power method
then you'll get lg factory reset,select yes 2 x,then it will boot into twrp

Trouble is I lost the ability to use the volume - and the power key. Something happened when trying to flash the TWRP recovery.
