Has anybody had NE2 + Customer Loyalty on 1 Line?

Okay so we hear everyone bragging about how they called Verizon and let them have it.. got transferred to customer loyalty and got a $50 off their next phone.

But I also have a $50 NE2 coming up .

Has anybody been able to get a $50 customer loyalty on top of their $50 NE2?

Figured it out. Got $100 midwest discount + loytalty = $130 discount lol

I've been with Verizon for about 6 or 7 years. I think my discount was like $5 bucks. I got my Incredible2 for $144 Now my wife has an upgrade and the same phone is $149. Yeah Verizon has good service, but with the prices of their phones and plans and killing my NFL app because I am not 4g. I'm sure not happy with them:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

I don't know, but I'm at a standoff at the moment with Verizon because since release day, the Galaxy Nexus (Razr and Rezound as well) has been $249.99 with my corporate discount. I was advised by a CSR to wait for my NE2 date (3 days ago) to get my $50 credit. Low and behold, the prices didn't change. My corporate discount was replaced with my NE2 discount. What a sham. Verizon trying to screw me out of my last NE2 credit. I have a message in to the regional VP, though it probably won't do me any good.

I could be wrong, but I don't think you can combine commercial (corporate) discounts with regular wireless customer discounts. You can use one or the other, but not both.

I think I saw this somewhere, but I've looked and can't find it. So.....

Best of luck, whatever you do,

Hence my confusion. It's a corporate discount and an NE2 credit. Discounts aren't credits and vice versa. I don't see where there's an issue with combination of the two. Case in point, with the corporate discount pretty much every phone was $50 less except the iphones. With the NE2 credit, even the iphones are $50 less. Being that Apple doesn't allow discounts, it's clear that this is treated as customer cash, not a discount. So what you have here is Verizon talking out of both sides of their mouth, and the iphone pricing exposes the double standard practice. It's misleading, and the only explanation I could get from customer support is that maybe I got my NE2 credit early. BS! Be it as it may, I'm not concerned with this being the policy (that even the reps aren't clear on) so much as I am that I waited for my NE2 to pay $200 for the phone but that never happened. In the end, it's still $250 for me and I missed out on the LetsTalk deal of $175.

Edit: From Verizon's website...

What is New Every Two

The last 2 upgrades on my line I got both the NE2 and our corporate discount. The last was in Feb. 2011 when my Eris died and I upgraded to an Incredible. So, unless they've changed their policy (entirely possible) you should be able to combine the 2.

Hhgregg had a deal. they matched the 249.99 and took off another 50. so I got it around 200. Almost don't want to know if that was good LOL.
