Has anyone heard of Solavei?

I had Solavei pointed out to me recently, it is going to be a new US prepaid phone carrier (using T-Mobile's network) that has unlimited everything for $49, along with a social networking aspect that will pay you. And, since they are using GSM, you can use your own GSM phone. I found this article, which claims they will credit you $20 for every three customers (a Trio) who you refer and join, and additional credit when they refer others. Now have found this article, that if you sign up three "Trios", that your service essentially becomes free.

Not many details on their website yet, just curious if anyone has heard of them or might know more. Looks like they are currently in beta and planning to launch in September.

I'm assuming that someone else has already invited you into their lane.
But if not, let me know and I'll shoot an invite to you (or anyone else that might be reading).

Whatever questions you have, I should be able to answer, but pretty much here's a breakdown of the service:

As you mentioned.. it's a MVNO operating on T-Mobile's backbone offering unlimited talk, text, and 4G data (the data cap is at 4GB/mo, afterwards you are throttled to Edge speeds). It's honestly a great value for those who are just looking for mobile service and nothing more.

However, the other side of that is the income potential. For every 3 you sign up (or for every 3 that are signed up under you), you make a trio and you earn $20 off of your phone service per month. So if you have 6 people under you (2 trios), your service is $9 a month. After your third trio, your service is now free and they actually pay you via a Solavei Debit card that they mail to you and load with any payments / bonuses you earn.

That's kinda the gist of it... it's pretty much like any other referral based marketing like Advocare, Scentsy, Mary Kay, etc... but it's the first time the model has been applied to mobile service which is why this should be very successful.

Service launches Sept 21st, but those who are in a lane by August 22 can get on the service starting August 27th to have a head start.
