Hats off to AT&T

[FONT=&quot]I just want to give a big thumbs up to the AT&T service I received this week. Back in April I purchased 2 Iphones for my daughters and last week they were both stolen. Unable to track or recover them I figured we were out of luck. I called customer support to see if there was anything they could do to get us new phones. They said while Apple puts restrictions on the Iphone he could give us and other phone at new contract price. I got 2 HTC One X. He then waived the new activation fees on both phones and shipped them overnight for free. All the while he was very polite and understanding. Something I never would have expected when I placed the call. Hats off to AT&T![/FONT]

Now doesnt that make you feel appreciated as a customer, especially if you've been with a carrier for many years! If at&t would do things similar to your case more often (we know they can afford it, even factor in this percentage in their books), they would probably gain some respect and shed the current image many articles and surveys seem to reveal.

I left Verizon many years ago for AT&T and have had nothing but great service. They have earned my business.
 
Well I do agree, ive had good service and occassionally a rotten cr experience a few times that escalated. But for the most part, yup at&t's been good.
 
Overall for me, AT&T has been really good with CS.
I have only had one bad experience here in a local store with a manager, but overall, it's all good.
 
Same here nothing but great customer service although coverage in some areas could be better. But then again i've had service with AT&T/Bellsouth since the days of dialup. They have lowered my rates in time of financial troubles many years ago. Gave me promos on my services and rebates that saved me $800 this year alone. I can't complain for having reliable phone, internet, cable and mobile service for $200 a month.
