Help Hauwei Ascend Y330

I note that to use the pre-installed Hauwei File Manager an internet connection is required. Why is this necessary when simply doing local file transfers?

Is it required.. or does it just have the the internet access permission.

Anyway if its a problem, just install a new file manager. ES File explorer is my one of choice, but others are available.

Yes, it states that it is required which is somewhat 'curious'.

It could be that it wants network access so you can use it to access files on servers, ftp sites or your computer etc...

Yep ... that's possible. I have sent a query to the manufacturer & will post reply if I get one.
