I was thinking of getting one for flying fishing lines over tree branches. Tie some dacron rope to the fishing line and rewind the fishing line. Attach some wire to the rope and raise up an antenna.

The photo aspects are fantastic but I can't justify the cost on that alone. The DJI Phantom 2 Vision uses your smart phone as a screen for a pilot's eye view (First Person Video). $1200.00 is a bit steep though.

With two uses, the cost for each type of use is only $600.00 each. That is much better.

And a slingshot or fishing rod are so much easier for putting up antennas.
