Have an App idea, need a developer

I have an android app idea that resides in the communication category of android apps. It could require a a lot of programming.

I was wondering what I should do in this situation. I don't know how/who to approach for developers. I feel although it is far more then worthy to develop.

Is there some sort of process for one who has an app idea but no programming knowledge or funds to start it ?

You can hire freelancers to develop your app.
But make sure you do legal agreement before assigning them your project. There are good portals where you can get freelancers and the portal takes care of the deal and money transfer.
