have GPX track file, need reader

i will be hiking in an area without cellular coverage which means no internet and thus no online maps. furthermore, some of the trail is not visible in satellite imagery so caching map tiles does little good. i have a GPX of the track, but so far i have been unable to find anything that will show my location over that track. topo and/or satellite images are optional. any ideas?

oruxmaps works, but it is not great. I'm looking for a better solution as well. Mapdroyd has a very good map, but doesn't let you load .gpx files.
