Have i made a mistake?

I'm not up to speed with mobile tech, having used a Nexus 7 for several years now but have had to upgrade as it's finally given up.
I've bought a 16GB Huawei MediaPad M2 10" today after reading a few reviews/listening to some recommendations on a few forums. I thought it looked pretty good for £199.. decent build quality, good sound & screen, micro SD port but have since read that there are known overheating, battery, charging & updating issues.. so now I'm panicking a bit.

I'd really appreciate the thoughts of anyone that is familiar with this Tablet..

That sounds kind of big. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy 10.1 myself and I think 8" would have been better.

Doing a quick search there doesn't appear to any commercial reviews stating this model has such serious issues it's should be avoided. Please post the sites where you read those warnings, it will help determine if this is a real issue or just some rantings from isolated incidents.

It doesn't seem to be a serious issue. Agree with the Above Poster don't see much about it. However, I'm not the expert here and I would say ask a couple of more opinions.
