Have main issues been addressed?

I ordered mine on Sept 5th from Google. (have not yet received it) Do I still need to be worried about screen lift, dead pixels, light bleed, etc, or should I be safe by now? By what date were we starting to see an improvement in quality?

I preordered mine before they were released and have no had any issues, screen lift or dead pixels. I think it's really hit or miss and may be difficult to assume that a tablet issued after a certain date would have no problems.

@OP.. I agree with this! Its really hit or miss, however overall the tablet is really a great device. I hope you get a good one because that's really the only negative aspect if you do receive one with the screen lift.

Keep in mind any production defects should be covered under warranty. May take a bit of turn around but don't settle for subpar quality.
