Have removed Whereis and want it back!

peacewise

Lurker
G'day people, I'm peacewise, new to the forum due to just purchasing the htc Desire down here in Australia.

Phone was moving along great I had moved the pre installed "whereis" a map program/app to one of my home pages and realised it was in the incorrect page, I was unable to move it to another page and so instead moved it into 'remove' thinking it would show up back in my programs section. It has not and is nowhere to be seen.

I do not want the whereis navigator that is a monthly subscription, but instead just want the basic app whereis that came with the phone.

My question is how do I get whereis back?

When you mentioned that I checked the droid store and wheris" isn't listed. "whereis it" IS listed but it's not, I don't think, what you're looking for.

I could have sworn I had it on my sytem but what I have is "where".

I'm so counfounded by the complexity and sensitivity of the beast, by this time, the "who's got 'where'"..."whereis it"..."yeah, that's what I want to know..wher is it". etc. is starting to sound like a Groucho Marks routine LOL. sorry, the devil made me do it.

It's not navigator (which is Whereis Navigator), that is the premium copy of whereis, something that I got for a 7 day trial, that then has taken over the free preinstalled version of whereis!
I can access Navigator, yet cannot access the base/preinstalled version of whereis.

Yet, now i'm like wtf!? I check out the phone and now "navigation" as an arrow icon has appeared next to Whereis Navigator. That has just come up overnight from bloody no where.

Anyways, I it's a thank you uzetaab for telling me to look again, lol, despite that I'd already looked a dozen times!
