I've had my HTC desire 510 for about 5 weeks now. I'm really disappointed with the unit overall, but I was able to work with it. However, yesterday I took a video of my ill bunny to show the vet, and when I got to her office, every one of my picture and video files had disappeared!! (only those taken by my camera, not downloads). I did some research, and looked up Lost dir... this file is 9.4G and obviously has all of my missing files. Something strange that I also noticed is that every file is marked as created at 6:00PM on December 29, 1899..... That would have been a real trick to do, right?
Anyway, I tried transferring the lost dir to my pc and using recovery software on it, but that just kept me awake all night and gave me back exactly 3 photos! Now my question is, since my Lost dir file is larger than my phone's internal HD memory, how can I recover those files, and more importantly, prevent it happening again?
