Having a problem with installing amazon app

Can't update amazon or install amazon apps, tried all the Google suggestions. Any advice would be appreciated

I was trying to reinstall the firetv remote app. It would download but wouldn't install. 505 code I think. Have the factory amazon app I actually disabled it and tried to download the apk with the same results.

All of my download attempts was thru the playstore and as a final resort thru amazon. Actually disabled security thinking that was the problem

After letting everything sit, no changes to anything I tried the app installed. Thanks everyone for your help

After an Oreo update? If so possible that the app is the issue.

Thank you, it apparently fixed itself. I tried the install again today and it worked

I see you have a LG phone and it should have Amazon assistance pre-installed on it. You can log into your Amazon account and reinstalled the apps that you purchased.
