Having app trouble on my eris

I just got my Droid Eris last week. It was shipped to me so I did not know to install the app killer and my battery was dying quickly so I took it in to the store and got it installed, but now whenever I go to kill my apps, I found that apps are open that I never opened or thought about opening. It is killing my battery. PLEASE HELP ME.

It is killing your battery but not much, for Some reason with the apps some just open and wont shut off, it is not really a big deal. because it just shows they are open their not actually running or doing anything.

It isn't a glich, it is the way it is designed to work. Take a quick search through the forums for task killer and you'll see the prevailing thought is that they do more harm than good.
