Having MMS problem, PLEASE HELP!!!

So pretty much i got a couple mms messsages sent to me, and when i press download it looks like its doing something, but doesnt actually downaload. soo why is this? do i have some sort of settng turned on or something? it wont download and its frustrating, please hlep
 
I don't use MMS myself, but there's something in the back of my mind that I think I have read somewhere which goes along the lines of you have to send an MMS before the phone is set up to receive them. It could be an old wives tale or something, but it's worth a try.

thats correct you have to send one to YOURSELF first or they dont work i had the same issue till some virgin tech told me to do that, works fine now
