having trouble with obb files

i was trying to play Always Sometimes Monsters but the when i put the obb file in the obb folder i get runtime error error table expected if this is a function call you might have used . instead of :

I would surmise that the game you did not download from the PlayStore:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=devolver.asm&hl=en

and therefore are trying to get help with getting a pirated app to work on your device.
