HBO Go

Down loading this now on my X. I was able to find it on the market with no problem. I have run the market fix on Gingerbread.
 
I'm assuming I need an HBO subscription with this? Anyone know if I can use it without getting a full subscription? (like maybe they have a mobile only discounted version, or even an option to buy individual episodes/movies)?
 
Aren't you on Gingerbread? Did you run the market fix that was put out when it was leaked? I had to do this to see all the apps.

On the main screen there is an option to subscribe. I tried this for you and says don't have HBO? contact your television subscribe.

I never had any issues with loading anything from the market until this but that's ok, I just installed it and going to check now....

Does anyone have the hbogo.APK? When i try to run the fix it says I need Busybox installed???? I upgraded to GB by downloading the Update.APK file. I have never been rooted.

Installed on X running GB. Xfinity user (comcast). Streaming Terminator Salvation now. Works great over 3G - Wifi even better. Nice.
 
On a rooted X still on Froyo, got it through DirecTV and downloaded a movie over 3G. Now I have something to do at work today. :)

I have the same issue, ive never rooted and i tried the market fix it tells me i need busybox. I tried installing that but i believe its for rooted users or something because it still didnt work after

Look at my post above this and get the HBO GO APk from XDA, i copied it to my phone and installed it without installing the market fix and have been using the HBO Go app with no problem. Watched Avitar while I worked.
 
They have a nice library of movies on this, not as good as Netflix, but this will hold me over until we are able to get the netflix app on the X. This is really nice on my X, but it looks even better on my 7in tablet!

Bah. The last tenant at this address skipped out on his cable bill, so they won't let us get service (the cable version of a bad esn i suppose). Guess I'll just have to wait for netflix. If it ever comes to the droid x... which apparently it might not...
 
I am on a motorola xoom and I downloaded the app for hbo go. The app will not run, I keep getting a force close error. Can anyone help me? Thanks again.
