Is there a way to turn off the screen timeout so the display stays on?

Menu - System Settings - Developer Options has a Stay Awake option, says it works while charging.

If your dock has power it should work. I have not tried it.

Looks like it would work but warns of burning screen if an image is left on too long. That's enough to scare me off.
This wasn't a problem with my Droid X. Maybe Razr Maxx is different.

As long as the image is changing that shouldn't be a problem, at least that's how plasma TVs work these days.
