hd maxx charger

why does the charger come with the 2 usb type ports in the wall plug? charge 2 phones at once?
Also, would using the old wall charger that was for my bionic hurt anything using it on the maxx hd?

Regarding charger use....use only OEM chargers. Batteries have become finicky

Pretty sure I use the charger from my Droid X with this phone and haven't had any issues.

Whichever you use (old or new) is fine. The old one may charge at a slower pace (check the amperage output on both for the answer).

The reason there are 2 slots is because almost everyone anymore owns multiple devices that need charged... why clog two outlets when one will do the job fine
