HD widget on lock screen?

Hi everyone. My N7 isn't giving me an option to use the hd widget as my main lock screen I am on 4.2.1 & when I click the + option on lock screen hd widgets is not there to add.

Is there an option I have to enable? I can add gmail & all that.
 
i think you cant have 3rd party widgets on the lockscreen. Im not 100% sure. But you can used widget locker and add any widget you want. if you use go launcher you can try go locker which is free! :)
 
With the 4.2.1 update I know you can add HD widgets to lock screen but the option isn't there when you go to add it. It doesn't make any sense why would it not be there when it's even stated in their release notes they updated hd widgets for lock screen

just bought and installed the app and the widgets do show. It shows "(10) HD widgets for Tablets"

try to reinstall the app and maybe that fixes your problem. (or try a reboot) :)
 
I'm using HD widgets on my lock screen. As mentioned above you have to use only the ones for tablet. After that, the next time you are on the lock screen the widget should be in one of your boxes, you may have to swipe to find it and set it as your lock screen widget.

It doesn't seem all that intuitive and a few tries but you'll get it to work eventually.
