Help HDMI not working properly?

I have bought an hmdi cord for my flex, it works for watching anything but something from the play store. I got an HDMI cord so I can watch my movies on our big screen, but no video comes through, just audio, does anyone have any experience with this issue? Or a suggested resolution??

Try different cord or another HDMI input on TV & sometimes power cycling LCD tv
can fix HDMI errors.

Also port on tablet could be damaged.

I use a cheapie cable from Menard's for my Flex 10.1

I've tried that. But I can try again, it's an older TV, but not that old LOL

Like previously started though, it works for everything but play store movies

The HDMI app that came with mine has to be ran in order to use hdmi port.

MxPlayer, Lucky patcher and 3c toolbox a.k.a. android tuner work well too. 3c lets you modify your build but i wouldnt change the lcd density...
