Help Hdr photos

Why is there 2 photos saved? I understand 3 like the iPhone, 1 high exposure 1 low and 1 combined. But it appears on the s3 it's the high exposure and the combined! Is there anyway to get just the one?

Many thanks

I might have misunderstood HDR but I would say 4 or 1 picture would make sense... Only the combined result (1) or 1 overexposed, 1 underexposed, 1 normal and the combined result (4).

But 2 pictures !!?! I find it strange too...

Wouldn't the combined result of under and overexposed be normal? Correct me if I'm wrong :p

2 photos get saved. 1 is a normal photo, the other is the HDR version which is a combination of lots of different saturation/exposures. It was the same son the iphone 4/4S

Damnity how to know which is which??

The one with the highest dynamic range is the HDR ;)

In other words the one with the highest details in the shadows and highlights with a possible tradeoff of having less contrast.
