I bought new chinesae Rokea android 2.3.5 phone recently and the head phone is not recognizing. Please help if you have some clue?

Have you tried another pair of earbuds or headphones? - to make sure they're not at fault rather than the phone.

Yes tried but no use. The same head phone is functioning in other phones.

The phone does not recognize any headphone connected? I would assume its a hardware problem, like a broken socket.
