Head phone volume notification

I have a Droid Razr that just updated in teh last couple of days to 4.1.2. Yesterday I plug my headphone jack into my external speakers. All is cool. Im in the next room and suddenly the volume is way down. I go check it out and I have a message on the screen that says something like "prolonged use of headphones can damage your ears, the volume has been lowered to 30%."

Is there a setting I am missing where I can turn off my phones parental guidance ! Im 50 yrs old ! I dont need a machine to tell me what volume to listen to my radio on ..

That’s pretty intrusive. You’d think it would be defeated by it knowing that you had a cable plugged in. Wonder if there’s a magic setting you can trip.
