Headphone audio quality question

Can anyone inform me on the quality of the sound that comes from the maxx's audiojack? I'm coming from a droid razr and that had a not so good quality when using headphones so I would always carry my ipod with me. I want to retire my little nano when I upgrade my phone so thats like the standard of audio quality that im looking for. Oh and if anyone can inform me of the same things but on the Note 3 and LG G2 it'd be really appreciated and save me from posting 2 more threads. :)

I've had a razr & a razr maxx and the sound quality was subpar compared to my ipod. It wasn't terrible but I wouldnt want to use it as my main music player which is what i plan to do with my next phone

Hearing and evaluation of sound varies greatly from one person to the next.

I suggest you take your headset to your local Verizon store and try it out.
That's the only real way to know.

Android can't compete with Apple as a stock phone unless you download Poweramp. The best music player EVER. Unfortunately, you can't use it with google music unless you are rooted.

Thanks. I needed a laugh before going to bed.
That was probably too general of a statement. What I should have said was... The android phones that I have owned have always left something to desire in the audio department. My wife's Iphone always sounds good weather its plugged in or not. Poweramp levels the playing field with the Iphone.
