Help Headphone Jack Not Working !

I would appreciate any help at all if possible.

My headphone jack on my samsung galaxy apollo has suddenly stopped working for no apparent reason. I was going to by expensive headphones to use on my phone but the headphone jack wont work. By the way i have had no water damage at all.
