Help headphone jack

So I bought a phone 3 months ago XOLO One
And today when I am putting my headphones in the jack the phone is not recognizeing it. The sound is still being played by the speakers ... There is no lint. And the head phones are alright in other devices.
What can I do ?
P.S I cannot buy a new phone
And I cannot spend more than 50 Rs. ($1)
I need help!

Sounds like a broken headphone jack. If the phone is only 3 months old it should be a warranty repair or replacement. Or a repair shop would fix it for probably less than $50.
