Since you are having a problem with one earcup, most likely it's your cable. That's a most common root cause of these problems
Klipsch makes ok in-ears, but cable connection is not as durable. HD419 is build better, but perhaps that angled cable attachment might not be as reliable. Could be just your bad luck, or maybe when you store your headphones the cable gets bent too much?
What is your absolute max budgets, what is your phone to drive these, and what type of music you listen to? You really have two choices to resolve "cable" issue. Either go wireless (bluetooth) or get a pair of headphones with detachable cables so you can swap them. Quality wireless headphones can run up in price, while a cheaper chinese ones will work OK but not the build quality (for example something like
THIS). The same with detachable cables, to bring the price down a lot of them cut some corners. For in-ear with detachable cables and a decent build your best bet would be Shure SE215 (85-99 pounds), those they have stronger bass which is OK for edm/pop/rock/hip-hop, but maybe not as much if you mostly listen to jazz and classical. For over-ears on a budgets, I would recommend ATH-M50 (109 pounds) - those are build like a tank, though cable is attache. If you add 16 pounds to it, you will get a newly released ATH-M50x with 3 different detachable cables.
If you want a cable with in-line controls/mics, Shure uses the same mini coaxial connector as UE and Westone, so you can get one of those replacement cables like the one I tested here:

For 3.5mm replacement cable, you can look into something like this:
http://androidforums.com/android-ac...ble-w-remote-mic-samsung-htc-w-lots-pics.html but I'm not sure if its going to work with M50x since I read it has a lock on the connector going into earcup.
In my opinion, if you want to invest into a pair of headphones with a great balanced sound, build like a tank, removable cable, in-line controls, and smaller design (on-ear which is smaller than over-ear) - you might want to check out V-Moda M-80:
http://androidforums.com/android-ac...-80-headphones-v-moda-faders-w-lots-pics.html - a lot more expensive but try to break these LOL!!! Plus you get a detachable cable and awesome storage case. V-Moda Crossfade LP is the same build like a tank, removable cables, but its bigger over-ears like Senns you had, and a nice storage case for 1/2 of M-80 price. But they are bass heavy, not as much clarity in upper mids.
When it comes to high quality wireless, highly recommend LG Tone+ HBS-730, you can get it now for under 50 pounds since a more pricier HBS-800 is released (I will be reviewing it soon).

Lots of choices
