only the right side of my headphones work when i plug it in . when i plug my headphones in another phone it works

It sounds like your headphone jack is dirty/broken. You can try to clean the headphone jack with a stripped down q-tip and alcohol. If that does not resolve the issue and your phone is under warranty get it replaced.
