My headset icon was stuck on on my HTC desire 626. I formatted it and reset it numerous times to no avail. The only way I ended up fixing it was to take the back cover off and slowly remove the battery til it shut off. I suggest doing it slowly because there are very small wires at the top and if they become disconnected you are screwed. It wasn't easy to remove the battery as there were stickers and tape on the inside to keep it in place and u will void any warranty u have by removing them. All I can say is it fixed my problem because I couldn't make calls and my speaker would not work. Hope this helps someone else. I am totally broke and cannot be without a phone due to medical reasons. Just wanted to help someone else in that same situation. Have a goodnight all
