Go to Settings > Battery > Menu > Show full device usage, then scroll down to the Device usage since full charge section. What apps/resources appear at the top of the list?

I noticed in that link they mentioned Whatsapp. These exact symptoms seem to be affecting the LG G6, too.

It actually seems like it's manifesting with a bunch of different apps, though mostly system components like Google Play Services, Call Log Backup/Restore, and Android Core Apps. Clearing data for the misbehaving app seems to help, at least temporarily, so I assume that it may be some sort of sync process getting hung up for some reason.
Google is taking these reports very seriously and working to get a fix out #soon.
