helix launcher + bettercut?

Hey guys and gals, I've been wrestling with the idea of purchasing bettercut (I really would like cute matchy icons), have a few questions:

1. Can you change all icons and widgets, including on additional screens made possible by helix?

2. Anybody have any trouble using bettercut with helix?

3. Is it user friendly? I'm not good with complicated apps

4. Do I have to add the bettercut app without helix or vice versa, I've read in some forums that people have trouble with home replacement apps and how or when they add bettercut.

Anything else of value you'd like to shed some light on would be appreciated.

Oh and how come I'm not getting emails when new posts are posted on my threads even though I have the option checked?

You can always download it, and if you dont like it, or are unable to use it with helux (which I am pretty sure you can) you can refund it.

Don't know enough about Helix but for some reason it doesn't work with advanced launcher.

I took the plunge and got Bettercuts, worth the price for sure (especially if you're willing to get icons from off the internet) but some widgets are unchangeable which was sorta frustrating. There's kinda no point in wanting to get your icons to be cuter and more uniform if there are some you just can't change. You end up with cute ones mixed with original ones, so I had to switch up where I had all my stuff onto different screens to make at least my home screen look original and cute. I put the unchangeables on other screens which I look at less.

the only issue with using both of the programs is if you're looking to change an apps icon make sure it is on your 'Home' screen and that there is room for the new icon on Helix 'home screen'. Meaning if you only have icons on your helix home screen bettercut wont recognize it. they have to be on your vanilla android home screen. that isnt something specific to helix just something i didnt realize when using both of them.

i DO IN FACT USE HELIX LUANCHER WITH BETTERCUT AND ANDROID 2.0.1 ICONS BECAUSE I LOVE THE NEXUS LOOK AND YES IT DOES WORK!!! \
i DID TRY BETTERCUT WITH SENSE AND IT WOULD NOT WORK WITH SOME APPS BUT IT WORKS FLAWLESSLY WITH HELIX
i RECOMEND IT SO GO FOR IT!!

Of course you cant change the way widgets look. Widgets are really just apps in themselves. To change the look you would either a. somehow open it up and program it yourself, or b. message the dev and send him a picture of how you want it to look and hope he takes pity on you.
