Helixlauncher effect battery life

Has anyone noticed if Helixlauncher for droid 2.1 effects the battery life or not? I cant accurately tell since my battery is already effected by low 3g coverage in the place i work. I just want to make sure helixlauncher is not adding to the problem.

I recently installed it and haven't noticed any effects on battery life one way or the other.

I noticed my battery life did decrease while using this on my eris. Because of that I went back to the Sense UI. I have seen other posts regarding this as well.
