Hello all, on securing my phone

I am new to Android, recently switched carriers from AT&T to T-Mobile and purchased a SGH-T399 (Samsung Galaxy Light).

Post backup and root, I noticed something quite peculiar about Android’s kernel. According to AFWall+’s logs, Android’s Kernel (AppID -11) seems to handle all inbound and outbound traffic. So far TCP and IMCP.

Is this supposed to happen?
