Hello all.
Took a bit of time to make my first post. Just lrked around a bit before posting.
I am Ashish from India. I joined this to actually root my phone. But I guess there is a lot more to an Android than just rooting. Still getting my head around Android, but i hope to learn a lot.

Welcome to the forums!

Android is a very capable OS even without rooting it. I would maybe consider holding off on rooting until you get your head around Android, and learn whether it's something you do need or not.

It's up to you though, if you do wish to root you should be able to get help in the "All Things Root" section of the forum that Matty18 linked you to
