Hello and tune advice

First thing I know nothing about how these forums work, so any advice on how to do this will be appreciated I don't text I use the phone for calls and a clock so past that I have no idea.

Hello all, my name is David from TN. and I decided to join this forum to get some help tuning these cars. My 7 year old grandson Thomas likes drag racing but he hates to lose so I try to help him and myself tune the cars, but some of the cars seem to have a limit, no matter which way you tune them. What I really want to know is how does someone tune for the 1 mile race. I've gotten my 9ffGT9R to 18.593 but the other car passes me at @3/4 track no matter what changes I make and you can't tune on a 1 mile track.
