Hi.
Yet another person who's opened an account in case of tech problems with an android device. I'll keep that out of here, and leave it until I've worked out which forum said device belongs in, though.

Hello and welcome to the forum:hello:

You're definitely in the right place for the best android tech advice. If you could post which device you have I'll be happy to link you to the dedicated forum:)

Thanks, guys.
Shotgun, the device in question is an Elonex Next: one of the little 7" netbooks. I think it's a rebadged version of the OneX. I take it that's going to be the other devices forum, not the tablets one?

Sorry for the delay. It doesn't look like there's a forum dedicated to your device. The best place I can think of to post any questions about your device world be the android lounge as that covers general android problems

Hi. I hope i am posting in the right thread.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab GT P7500. Recently my tablet got hung and I cannot access it. Therefore, I had to hard reset my tab to factory default. My problems now are all my pictures & documents also went lost.

I've read there are apps which can recover back all my missing data even after formatting the device. However, after the installation, my PC can't detect my tablet as a USB device after I plugged in but only as a portable media player. Therefore, I can't use the recovery apps to recover back my data because the program doesn't detect the tab itself.

Please help me, I need to get back my lost data.

Hello dean031. Welcome to Android Forums. I'm sorry to hear of your problems. As for connecting your tablet to your pc... somewhere in your settings should be an option to set how your tablet is emulated to your pc. Charge mode off or on. Ask when connected. Something along those lines. You will want to set your tablet to emulate a mass storage device or in a non charging state. Then connect to your pc.. your tablet should then be recognized by your pc. I hope this will help. As for recovering your lost files... I hope that works out for you. For the exact access and settings to connect your tablet in a data connected mode you will want to check into the support area for your tablet. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 - Android Forums
I wish you luck and thank you for using these forums.
