Hello and welcome aboard the forum. There has been a lot of posts about members having problems with the Facebook for Android application. Have you tried clearing data or uninstall and reinstall the application - this usually fixes most issues. There are also other Facebook applications that you can use from the Android market. Friendcaster is a popular facebook client that most users are using instead of the original FB app.
